The Wealth of Wellbeing: A Behavioural Science Perspective https://www.behaviouraleconomic.co.uk/the-wealth-of-wellbeing-a-behavioural-science-perspective/ https://www.behaviouraleconomic.co.uk/the-wealth-of-wellbeing-a-behavioural-science-perspective/#comments Sat, 18 May 2024 10:50:19 +0000 https://www.behaviouraleconomic.co.uk/?p=10181 When we think about wellbeing, we often think about our health, including our mental state. Fake News, False Memories and Flawed Decisions: A Behavioural Solution https://www.behaviouraleconomic.co.uk/fake-news-false-memories-and-flawed-decisions-a-behavioural-solution/ https://www.behaviouraleconomic.co.uk/fake-news-false-memories-and-flawed-decisions-a-behavioural-solution/#comments Tue, 13 Oct 2020 09:03:10 +0000 https://www.behaviouraleconomic.co.uk/?p=7307 At first glance, fake news and false memories appear to be separate phenomena. We find that awards might send unintended signals to recipients about the social norms and institutional expectations for the target behavior. Organizations and leaders considering using awards should know that awards can have more complicated consequences that might be intuitively expected.
